Kaj Jensen
Vice President for Public Policy, Bank of America. He has worked in the financial services industry since the late 1990s in the risk management and public policy arena. His current responsibilities at Bank of America include helping to oversee the bank’s environmental initiatives and its $20 billion commitment to lending, investing, and the development of financial products and services promoting environmentally sustainable business. Kaj supports the bank’s Environmental Council and executive management on environmental issues and works with various business lines and internal staff on issues relating to policy and product development, communication, philanthropy and maintaining relationships with outside stakeholders.
Prior to his tenure at Bank of America, Kaj began his career as a geologist working in the mining industry throughout the US and in areas of Latin America and later worked as a consultant on environmental issues. Kaj holds a B.A. from Colby College, an M.A. from the University of New Haven and has served as an adjunct professor at the New England College of Finance.
