Pieter Schiller
Partner Emeritus, Advanced Technology Ventures. He joined ATV in 1986 as the first General Partner devoted to focusing on healthcare investments. His 25 years of executive experience in operations and finance helped guide more than a dozen emerging companies into becoming successful industry leaders, such as Cytyc Corp, developer of ThinPrep® pap smear screening system; Novoste Corp, a surgical device company; and CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals, Inc, a specialty pharmaceutical company. Prior to 1986, he held executive positions at Honeywell International and its predecessor companies. As Corporate Vice President of Allied Signal, he directed the task force that led the highly successful integration of Allied Corp. and Bendix Corp. He holds an M.B.A. from New York University and a B.A. from Middlebury College.
